I love the moment that you have captured here. I have watched my own daughter getting ready to dance and the dancers always seem to find this very peaceful place to go when they are preparing for the stage. They seem to push the nerves down and a calm settles over them. You can still feel the tension in the air, but it does not seem to have any sway over the dancers anymore.

Stunning piece. I love the simplicity. The detail is wonderful and the light and shadows are beautiful.
