Original oil of Prima Ballerina Tamara Rojo in Swan Lake's Odile (Thanks Tamara) on 61cm x 91cm stretched canvas painted using only a knife.

There's many more figurative, dance and portrait fine art original oil paintings, pastels and gicleé prints on my website: R Young Art

Prints are now only available via my website, though I do sign them. I have disabled all prints of my artwork on DA in protest as they removed my featured artwork, didn't adhere to their own policies and ignored my communications so I don't see why I should contribute financially with print commissions...

Daily DeviationRarely does a singular, two-dimensional art-form encompass the qualities of dance on so wide a range of perspectives - dance in the heart and eyes of a dancer as well as the standpoint of an audience, while maintaining the fervent ambiance of performing on stage. Please enjoy Prima Ballerina by ~ryoung as well as many more spectacular portrayals of dance in this gallery. (Featured by ^snowmask)

u might try to do art with some flesh then :D ..cool pic
I love it, so tender and graceful...
I hope I can say I really think you catched the beauty in it - without sounding too much klichélike...?
oh, wow! that is really nice.

i really do love this one!
This is great--thanks for doing this--and I've always wanted to see Tamara Rojo (well, in Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet, but this is good enough).
Thx. Please take a browse through my gallery and see. Better still, please visit my website...
