Top Artists Directory Vote Result

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 14, 2008, 11:33 PM
Somehow, I won... :winner:

Somehow, I achieved the most votes in the Top Artists Directory poll for 'unknown' traditional artists, which I now understand is for those with less than 30,000 page views. Having carefully studied the galleries of the other excellent artists, I feel absolutely honoured to have achieved this amongst such talented company. :worship: If you would like a little more of an insight into myself and my artwork, here's the interview conducted by DA, who I again thank for putting so much effort into this excellent feature:

[link]

And I really appreciate those who took the time to vote for me...

I also again thank those who have bought prints via DA and I sincerely hope that you are entirely satisfied with them. Please do send me a photo of them hanging or displayed if you get the time.

Please also note that if the cropping in my print gallery is not quite right for your specific requirement, if you let me know your preferences in advance to purchasing, I'll try to adjust the image just for you, as I usually accept DA's default settings due to my very limited time constraints and I realise that this doesn't suit everyone's requirements exactly...

However, if you prefer to buy a signed Open Edition A2 or A1 Giclée (lightfast) print on heavy duty 225gsm Canon Premium Art Embossed Paper, printed on my Canon W6200P professional printer, you can do so for all of my artwork shown on my website, where I also have several originals available: [link] Please e mail me with your requirements and to discuss the details.

And more thanks to everyone who very kindly views, :+devwatch:'s and :+fav:'s my artwork. I do try to reply to all comments and thank those who :+devwatch:'s my artwork, though there are simply far too many :+fav:'s for me to thank those who do so individually. If I tried, I'd never get any painting done!

Meanwhile, back to my Easter break with my Tribe, as painting starts again in earnest next week...

:)

I am awed by your gallery and your sterling ability to render liquid human movement and interactions so "effortlessly". I'm definitely coming back soon to check out all your pieces.

Oh, and I'm watching you. That goes without saying.

I am impressed with your work beyond words. Your forms are so fluid and the fact that you can reach such realism and such emotion often with limited pallets and the knife is just.... amazing. I am humbled.
