The Passion of Dance

My favourite painting - The Passion of Dance, Drew Jacoby

Fave News

Prints enabled

Sat Oct 3, 2009, 11:33 PM
Following so many requests I've decided to enable prints once again, though I am still seriously unhappy at what DA did...

Signed gicleé prints are also still available via my website: R Young Art

If anyone's interested in such a print, please e mail me at inquiries@ryoung-art.co.uk with your requirements and to discuss the details. However, I can't offer the full range of prints that DA offer as I simply don't have time to administer such a range.

And thanks to everyone who very kindly views, :+fav:'s and :+devwatch:'s my artwork. I do try to reply to all comments, though there's simply far too many :+fav:'s and :+devwatch:'s for me to thank those who do so individually. If I tried, I'd simply never get any painting done!

Hi Richard, stunning works. I look forward to your next posts.
:iconlds-artist:
I've seen your artwork around the UK galleries, that is when I looked you up on deviant art. :-) You are at the stage I wish to be. How is it going during the recession?
:iconryoung:
Thx Nicole. There's only a few galleries in the UK that hold and occasionally exhibit my artwork, though I really should make more of an effort and I just don't get enough admin time. Or 'me' time for that matter. I'd be interested in knowing where you saw my artwork if you don't mind, just for my reference. With International galleries, I am sooo reluctant to offer sale or return due to the risks involved, hence I've turned down many requests. The recession has made an impact on the quantity and value of my original sales, but not the individual prices or prints, though I am fortunate enough not to rely upon the revenue I guess as I'm only semi professional. My recommendation to yourself is to develop a personal website and spend at least one day per week on promoting and marketing your artwork, along with general business development.

Good luck and best wishes...

Thanks Mari,

I am afraid that it's all down to luck. And the more I practice, the luckier I get...

You are like an inspiration! you are truly amazing! Nice paintings!

I just noticed that you wrote thanking for the faves. First of all you are an amazing artist and now I'm even more fond of you when I saw that you're an engineer as I am.

Who says you can't do both?

Your art is simply beautiful.
